DASL/SIS Attendance Overview

This training provides an overview of the attendance features available in DASL/SI and equips users with the knowledge needed to accurately manage student attendance while meeting Ohio attendance reporting requirements.
Participants will learn how to:

  • Enter and maintain student attendance using both Attendance Entry and Fast Entry.
  • Navigate and utilize the Attendance Intervention screen to monitor attendance concerns and interventions.
  • Generate and interpret key attendance reports for daily operations and compliance.
  • Understand and use FM Attendance Hours for state reporting.
  • Review Ohio's House Bill 96 (HB 96) attendance requirements and how they impact district attendance procedures.
  • Configure and generate attendance letters to support parent and guardian communication.

Whether you are new to DASL/SI attendance or need a refresher on current processes and legislative changes, this session will provide practical guidance and best practices to help your district maintain accurate attendance records and remain compliant with state requirements.
