Tech Advisory Committee Meeting (w/Repair Center Presentation after)
The Technology Advisory Committee (TAC) serves as a collaborative forum for technology leaders across NEOnet districts to discuss emerging technologies, strategic initiatives, cybersecurity, infrastructure, educational technology, and operational best practices.
Each meeting provides opportunities to:
- Share district successes, challenges, and lessons learned.
- Review industry trends, legislative and regulatory updates, and emerging technologies that impact K-12 education.
- Discuss cybersecurity, networking, cloud services, AI, data governance, and technology operations.
- Receive updates on NEOnet services, initiatives, and strategic projects.
- Evaluate new products, vendor solutions, and collaborative opportunities.
- Provide feedback that helps shape future NEOnet services, priorities, and member support
Meetings are designed to encourage open discussion, peer networking, and collaborative problem solving while ensuring member districts remain informed about changes affecting educational technology throughout Ohio.
NOTE: The Technology Advisory Committee is open to technology leaders from all NEOnet member districts. Come ready to share ideas, ask questions, and help shape the future of technology services across our region.
POST-MEETING (Optional): NEOnet Repair Center & Device Protection Spotlight (11:15am to 11:45am)
Stay after TAC for an overview of the NEOnet Repair Center and the services available to support your district. We'll cover our in-house repair capabilities, turnaround times, supported device types, common repair offerings, and how districts can leverage the Repair Center to reduce downtime and extend the life of their technology investments.
We'll also be joined by Worth Ave. Group for a brief discussion on Chromebook and device protection programs, including insurance options, claims processes, and best practices for building a sustainable device protection strategy. This is a great opportunity to ask questions, explore available resources, and learn how NEOnet and Worth Ave. Group can help simplify device lifecycle management for your district.
